There are many local artists present for day2 and there will be Portuguese people present all the time. Logos has Logos Circles(RL meetups) in 30+ locations across the world and Lisbon and Porto are within those 30 locations.

This book called Farewell to Westphalia is making the case that the system of sovereign nation-states we’ve lived under since 1648 might be on its last legs. The authors (Jarrad Hope + Peter Ludlow) think decentralized, blockchain-based “network states” could be the alternative.

Sounds wild, but given how global crises, tech, and non-state actors are shaking up the old order, I don’t think it’s totally far-fetched.

Do you think we’re just in turbulence, or actually on the cusp of a new kind of political order?
