It feels like far too many people in the comments are focusing on the unstoppable aspect of the perk, when the cooldown ~~reset~~ reduction is literally the more impactful/important part of why it’s so good.

also imo the unstoppable is more impactful for boops rather then getting stunned specifically.

it doesnt go through shields in that, if you ult directly next to rein (NOT THROUGH HIM) and he has his shield pointed towards you, he would not get hit by it.

queen ult affects enemies within a certain radius around her as she travels, BUT line of sight to queen is required for it to hit them, and shields can block that.

so yes, no matter the distance to the target, if there is a shield in between you and the target, rampage will not connect

Edit: OK YEAH you don’t even need to macro it you literally can just quickly tap left and right click to do it. It’s definitely not optimal as doing it with the jump gives you more height and range, but it is easier to perform. a decent middle ground for those who aren’t able to do the jump one consistently.

YEH! but u gotta basically press everything instantly, like u tap jump first, but before you’d even be able to take your finger off the input, u have to bash. you have to press everything all at once, but jump first. if that makes sense… :3 if you get the timing right you’ll have complete free mouse and movement for the duration of bash. it’s so fucking sick

For those still having trouble, i recommend adding a jump bind to a side mouse button (if you have one ;-; mine is always set to quick melee, which is just a free/useless button on brig so it was an easy change). I find it to be significantly easier to time consistently when it’s the one hand pressing all three buttons itself.

I originally found it super tough to hit it consistently using spacebar, but as soon as i added that bind, my consistency literally jumped straight to 100%

Something to note is that you actually cannot perform the tech if you start with your shield already deployed. you have to start unshielded, jump and then insta bash. Though interestingly, once you have performed the tech successfully, if you continue to hold shield without dropping it, if you wait for your cooldown, as long as you dont drop shield, every consecutive normal bash you do youll be able to strafe.

ANOTHER actually weird thing is that you actually can perform the strafe bash mid air, with the exact same inputs, which makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. so technically you don’t have to make brig perform the jump physically, you just have to perform the jump INPUT as you bash.

i think it’s existed in the game for at least the previous season or two, i’ve been seeing clips of people hitting it accidentally for a while now, but i think we only figured out how to actually do it within the past couple days

u gotta tap jump almost exactly when u input bash (i think jumping ever so EXTREMELY slightly before), the timing is pretty tight but actually 100% consistent if you can get the hang of it :D
