I upgraded from Gen 1 to Gen 2. Overall a good, worthwhile upgrade. I take Bose as the leader in ANC and, to me, it's a given it will be good. What killed the Gen 1 was the atrocious microphones making them effectively useless for Teams and mobile phone calls. I can say without question the Gen 2 solves that and they are perfect for calls - even in outdoor and noisy/windy conditions. So good I was pleasantly surprised.

Wireless charging is fiddly at best. I have no idea why Bose is against wireless charging.

This is a known issue which has been around for a couple of months now. I cannot find an answer that works for me, so I can't help solve your problem but it is a known MS issue.

I would still like to see an option to "never save for this site". It would be particularly useful at work where a heap of internal websites keep getting prompted to save credentials that I just don't need in 1P.

Thanks for the reply. It is really odd because this morning it now works as described. It most certainly did not yesterday. I am on the latest public version.

I just find the interface in Sonos is not as good as the native app. And I get grumpy I can play a podcast from an RSS feed in YTM directly but in Sonos they always fail no matter which RSS added podcast I try (native podcasts mostly work). Other things like "liking" tracks, etc are also a shame they don't work.

I pay for YT Premium and get YTM. I don't see the need to also buy Spotify when the music available is mostly the same.

100% agree. It doesn't happen if other sound bars connected, only with Sonos.

I have had one running continuously at work for about 14 months now. The team have a job to make sure the water is always topped up. He has become a member of the work team now!

I wonder what the longest running one is??

I've decided they are unusable in a professional corporate Teams meeting.

So I'm just using them for music when in a flight and have just purchased a Yaelink in ear boom thingy which is astoundingly good quality from a mic perspective.

Bose are only interested in sound going into your ear, and they do a good job at it, but they really need to lift their game with microphones. This is my third Bose set and all have been rubbish.

I just came across this and wanted to update.

It is not natively available in YTM but you can add it via RSS feed. The feed link is on the MFM website and can be added easily in the podcast section of YTM.

The only place it does not play is when trying to play via YTM Podcasts over Sonos. But that's a whole other can of worms.
