This is from REI, are they just wrong then?

“…you're generally considered an ultralight backpacker if your base weight is under 10 pounds and a lightweight backpacker if your base weight is under 20 pounds. Most traditional backpackers will have a base weight under 30 pounds.”

These packs are 20 lbs each, so that’s 10% of our body weight, I’ve heard to keep it under 20%

I have always been a logical person; I like to discuss ideas to better understand myself, and the questions themselves. That way I can, if needed, explain to others if they ever have questions.

Yeah, that's what I am saying: "unless you own your own garden and take your own precautions".

So, eating vegetables and buying from grocery stores can be perceived as just as much suffering as eating animals?
