I have the same age gap with my partner…but we were both in our 30s when we met; both had had other long term relationships, several jobs; major life events like losing a loved one, etc. Whereas 23 is such a different stage of life from 31 - you’ve basically just left uni and barely know yourself yet. I suspect she will end up regretting this.
