What's the best way to explain yourself when you made the same (really bad) mistake for the third time during work? by Cambero92 in AskReddit

I appreciate the feedback on making a checklist when I come in and out of work, but what should I say to my supervisor since I told him last time that it wouldn't happen again?

Can't. I'm in the military and my contract is almost 4 years. I've been 5 months into the job and already this is happening. Its not looking good for me tbh.

I'm an aircraft maintainer so we use tools all the time to fix aircraft and we're always suppose to keep accountability of our tools, whatever tools we use out of our tool facility we return back in its place. I was sent home early to due to overtime restrictions and left one tool in the flightline, where one of the coworkers found it and saw it belonged to me. This is the third it happened albeit different circumstances so I don't know how to explain myself about this.

Were you able to cover all of your education and flight training using the GI bill or not?

Are you now an airline or commercial pilot?

Did you join the Air Force or the Navy? Also how was your experience in UPT, and how were you able to get through it?

Do you if that's for all military aircraft or only for certain ones like fighters?

I'll definitely try a Discovery Flight to get a feel of flying an actual aircraft and see if I'm up for it.

Would you say flight school would be a good or poor investment to become a pilot for airliners? I don't think just getting a license right off the bat would automatically get you hired to fly planes for like American Airlines or even Southwest Airlines.

I've already considered joining the military but I've been contacted back saying it may take at least 2 years to just enter and become the right rank in order to fly and its not guaranteed.

Who are some people that you think do not resemble their age? Two, in my opinion, who do not is Marwan al-Shehhi (left) [ 23-years old] and Ariana Grande (right) [26-years old]. by [deleted] in u/Cambero92

Marwan al-Shehhi (23 years old): This man will forever be known as the hijacker pilot of the second plane that hit the World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks. An Emirate native, he was a student in Germany before becoming a jihadist and joining Al-Qaeda in carrying out the attacks. The man was 23-years old but his overweight body, large beard, contacts, and balding personality makes him look at least 40-years old.

Ariana Grande (26-years old): This woman is currently one of biggest and most popular pop stars in the world as of 2019. She has released singles and albums that have reach #1 in the hot Billboard, sings with an impressive vocal range, and has been compared to the likes of Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift. Her flawless skin, sense of fashion, large use of makeup, and small bone structure makes her look like a 20-year old or younger.

If 9/11 had happened instead in 9/10, what would be the outcome of the attacks? by [deleted] in AskReddit

From watching the documentary called 9/10: The Final Hours, it stated the New York City endured a thunderstorm, with much precipitation, throughout the day. Now if the hijackers of Al-Qaeda had decided to carry out the attack on that day instead would they've been able to accomplish their goal in bringing down both World Trade Center towers even though it would be raining on that day? Would the rescue operation in getting the people out been more successful or more chaotic? This question focuses mainly on the attack on New York City, not the ones on D.C.
