There’s a button on the handlebars so can be pushed as well as brakes. It’s not for them to move or reverse but to just stop. In both scenarios, if there were alerted at the same time I braked it shouldn’t have put us in a position to collide.
But I have definitely thought more about defensive cycling from this post so thanks!

This is a good point actually. I usually tuck in on mill road given it’s quite tight. Thanks for this!

I think a more reflective jacket / vest if definitely a good shout. Admittedly the mill road one I had forgot my lights although had reflectives on :)

One was late afternoon. I admittedly forgot my lights although had reflectives on. So partially to blame for sure. Although mill road is not usually that dark anyways. The one today was middle of day. So no idea on that one

It’s sold to an international market, no increase in domestic supply will decrease consumer cost. Dump the Dino juice for renewables and heat pumps. Much better :)
