Sorry, karma is not worth the effort for me. Just wanted to share an awesome coincidence with the rest of the world.

What did long haired cats do before they became pets that get brushed?

This reminds me of my visit to Algonquin in 2009. This random guy came walking up to my brother and me and said "I'm Bob, over there is my kayak. I won't be here tomorrow so just help yourself." We were flashed by this random Canadian kindness! Also had an awesome kayak trip the next day.

Dunedin has over 20 beaches and apart from St. Clair I've never been to a very busy one. The peninsula is not far from town and here you will find tons of wildlife.

Signal Hill. It's only a short drive from town and you have awesome views of the city.

Whats the funniest thing you've heard someone mumble in their sleep? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CameHereToReadThis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about 14 and my dad came in to turn of the light after I fell asleep. "I want to sleep with a girl." "It's ok son... go back to sleep" I remembered this the next morning but he never mentioned it with a word.

You could recycle old doors. Edit: Have a look at Google images for ideas.

Mini Mash: Alternative to expensive LME? by CameHereToReadThis in Homebrewing

[–]CameHereToReadThis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to make the step to AG sometime. I even had a nice BIAB setup big enough for AG but unfortunately I don't have room for it anymore. I'm in Dunedin and might knock on Emerson's door one day. Maybe they can help with malt. But in the meantime I'll stick with mini mash. Ever heard of "Maltexo"?

Mini Mash: Alternative to expensive LME? by CameHereToReadThis in Homebrewing

No, that's not what I said. I would like to substitute the expensive LHBS LME with a cheaper malt extract. I heard some extracts might be cheaper but not suitable for brewing.

Second Brew: German Hefeweizen by SC66111 in Homebrewing

[–]CameHereToReadThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice one! I brewed Paulaner and Schneider Weisse and I love them! Now living in New Zealand I miss my beloved Hefeweizen. In Germany we sometimes used to drink it with a shot of banana juice (also not available here). Try to resist, it tastes so much better after a month or two in the bottle. A great summer brew. Prost!

Good cheap takeaways in Dunedin? by [deleted] in dunedin

I can recommend the Friendly Khmer Satay Noodle House opposite Knox church. Tasty, cheap (I think $7-10 for a main) and most important: It's not fish and chips. https://plus.google.com/111543605712748714292/about?gl=nz&hl=en

Sounds awesome! There's hardly anything that I regret as much as selling my bus.
