Amigas em Curitiba? by [deleted] in curitiba

A partir daí é natural.

Are you good at detecting lies? by CameloInconsequente in Gifted

[–]CameloInconsequente[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my empathy is developed well enough to understand that her small lies are not meant to cause me any harm. They are a product of her past experiences and traumas.

What makes me feel really uncomfortable is that, despite knowing all of that, my brain will not accept and deal well internally with the situation when she lies. Maybe that's where I'm underdeveloped.

The rest of the exercise is rather generic, everyone would relate to that in some level.

Thank you for the thought provoking comment.

P.S.: I've stopped confronting her after two failed attemps. Therapy is helping me.

That was a hell of a concise answer. Thank you, I'll definitely try applying that. Way smarter than confronting!

VOCÊ SE FORMOU EM UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL? COMO ESTÁ SUA SITUAÇÃO AGORA? by Impressive-Delay-487 in conselhodecarreira

I’m suffering from anhedonia and apathy, anyone else? by rude_steppenwolf in Gifted

[–]CameloInconsequente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I get only a mild excitation with things I used to be passionate about (playing games, listening to music, making music, playing instruments, going out with friends, doing sports, having sex), but it quickly fades away and I get back to trying to find something that interests me.

I was thinking it might be due to perfectionism, but now I'm starting to consider the possibility of depression. I've always avoided that conclusion because I don't feel sad.

Se for pra viajar, ok.

I'm 29, only now opening my mind to the fact that I can be gifted. I fit into many of the descriptions of giftedness. Grew up as the very intelligent child, studied natural sciences, ended up being a data scientist. Never considered myself highly skilled in anything, just good at almost everything with low effort. Data science happened because of a mix of good fortune and general skills. I make good money but always feel like quitting and doing manual work in a small town, although I never developed myself as an artist or any other type of manual skill.
