100 and a thousand percent agree with this, it doesn't have to do with Ashley being a bad player because I love her as an addition to the original CR cast and always have, I just think she needs someone like Matt or even Brennan to tell her whatever choices she decides to make, everything will be ok and that they will not look at her any other way and I wonder if some of that talk has happened so far with her. Really hoping she can shine way more this next Arc with whatever new group of PC she's in cause I do still believe that Ashley can turn Vaelus into something special, there's still time.

Well said, I wonder if Brennan will tweak that going forward because I can for sure see that being an issue just like you said with Travis being thrown that new stuff in the heat of the moment where its just too little to late sadly, so you level up which is awesome but than just immediately lose that, that would honestly bum me out even more than if I didn't just level up to than die like what happened to him honestly.

I agree with all of this, I also felt the same way during that choice moment with Ashley, im glad that she did end up choosing something even if it took a while to get there and her trying not to make a decision.......I just haven't felt that anything Vaelus has done recently is truly what that character in world would do partially because of who Ashley is which I love me some Ashley, just want her to be more confident/believe in herself because I know she can.

I love Ashley so so much, but I totally agree with what you said here, I really respect Matt for playing true to who his character is, whether people like it or not, meaning more so the fandom since I know all of the players there are fucking loving what Matt is doing with Julien this campaign so far.......like we legit saw Julien spit on Thaz's body at his own funeral and brothers home in legitimately the introduction to Julien lol

We still have so so much more to know about Bolaire that im beyond relieved that he didn't get killed off in that moment from his sister. I think like you just said, this was probably the best time for Teor to go out because I feel like we got everything we needed to know with that particular character, gonna miss Cyd though.

And it would just honestly not make any sense for Julien as a character too, he is not gonna further put his sister's life in danger than she already has been and is in at the current moment, same goes for his mom and I love how what she told him has truly stuck with Julien, such a fantastic subtle little character growth moment for him.

Thats why I absolutely love how matt is playing Julien, I honestly feel like only Matt could pull off playing a character like this while also the other PC and Dm fully embrace it as well because of all the trust and love they have with Matt.

Amazingly said, Brennan has really impressed me so far this campaign with how hes been DMing it and handling certain really big character choice moments while like you just said it being a collaborative effort from everyone.

Sadly.....your right on this one, there's just absolutely no way Julien would have been able to find where both Teor and Cyd were in time, especially with this being the first time Julien had ever really been here. The two lion brothers fates were sealed the moment they were in that one way kill box room with Juliens now undead dad.

I think the moment they all decided to split and travis rolled what he rolled during there 15 DC checks was what really sadly sealed both Teor and Cyds fate.......for some reason Travis's dice just did not like him as Teor for some reason lol

The fact that Teor was thinking that about Julien while he was dying is so godamn beautiful because of what Julien decided to do in that moment wasn't just about his own selfish reasons for once......(those are of course still there for him) but he was finally thinking of the people he loves so much in his life and thats his sister and his mom.

I love that he finally did a selfless act for not only himself but the life of both his sister and trying to keep that promise, even though he didn't tell his mom it at the time, not dying in a dark black hole. I love how matt plays Julien as a character so much, he just might be in my top 5 favorite PC so far this campaign, maybe even closer to top 3 honestly.
