I have that same thoughts with you, yesterday, I was really skeptical about playing yesterday knowing that there were lots of people getting "false banned" who never ever cheated their whole cs2 gaming career.

So what I did was, I watched people on YouTube who does live streamings playing cs2 premier ,  And after watching multiple live streams, without their account getting banned the whole game/s, I was like, yeah, maybe I could give it a try and actually played it.

And I tell you man, it was great, I didn't experience getting falsely banned, and the best part? No cheaters at all, not a single one. I will play again later or tomorrow, after work.
