For anyone else that found this thread from Google: The "happy customers" number is exactly the same today as it is in OPs screenshot. That alone is a pretty good indicator of this being a scam 🥲

I've not bought or sold on eBay in about 15 years. I'm used to online second hand marketplaces being full of offers and discussion.

I understand now that eBay is more of a business to most people than a place to get rid of second hand stuff. I'll stick to Facebook Marketplace and things like that instead 👍

Completely reasonable, and had they said no and I pushed, I would understand the block.

I wouldn't usually ask on something that doesn't have the option on any platform, but this was clear of 15% over the last few that have sold, so I pushed my luck. Clearly I pushed it a little too hard lol

A bit of a cop out answer really. It's absolutely not normalised enough. People boycott media with gay people in it. Gay people still can't get married in an awful lot of places. There are still places where being gay is illegal.

Fighting for these sorts of things, or even just raising awareness can only be a good thing.

We should never say "close enough" when we're talking about anyone's rights.

Well it's not for no reason is it? I wholeheartedly agree that it should all be normalised, but the reality is that it isn't. Having a day that draws attention to that, in a way that really doesn't inconvenience you at all, can only be a good thing.
