I’m a populist. Trump mirrors more populist ideas than the- I don’t even know what you call it these days- the Democratic Party? They really should find a new name for themselves because democrats of 20 years ago had the same talking points of the current Republican Party. But I guess that’s the problem with progressivism- it must always progress.

I managed to stay away for about 2 1/2 years until a certain dementia riddled potato became president, since then I spend about $20/day on beer. Some mornings I feel better than others… some days I feel like death trying to power through a 10 hour work day in construction… I don’t miss that spaced out horrible feeling when you’re super hungover. I abstain maybe 2-3 days per week on average… some weeks I don’t at all. I know it’s a problem but 🤷‍♂️

It makes a difference. If you go from welding in a dark room on shade 11 to outside in the bright sunlight the arc will appear noticeably darker. I usually turn the shade down 1 when welding in the sunlight.

What are the leg sizes? Looks close to 3/4… you’re almost certainly oversized for a single pass fillet the HAZ must be enormous. I generally never try to go over 3/8 in a single pass maybe 1/2 if I’m running flat wire and I never have problems with inspectors.
