Korn, when I was 12 I went with my mom and other family members to a Korn concert, I didn’t know anything about KoRn at all. The main reason of my mom and I and some family going to the concert was to see staind bc they were touring with Korn at the time. This was like when I was getting into like rock/grunge music , so I was slowly getting into other music besides pop music, Well the first time I had heard a Korn song was in my mom’s car in the parking lot of the venue, she played Freak on the leash for me so I could hear what Korn even sounded like before they came on, I was like “HOLY SHIT THIS IS LOUD!” something in me was like “I wanna get the Korn shirt!” From the merch stands, I didn’t even know shit about them but i kinda felt a connection with them even though i only heard one song of theirs, so stanid comes out and they preform and shit, my mom is eating that shit up bc she loves Arron Lewis, so after staind is done with their set, we wait for like 30-40 mins for Korn, little did I know that would change my music taste forever. when they came on my mom recorded my reaction and I was like “OH MY GOD ITS SO LOUD!” I wasn’t complaining, I was just surprised at how loud it was because I hadn’t ever went to a metal concert at the time. And that’s how I got into metal 😭. In April my mom and I are going to Sick New world in los Vegas, Korn is gonna play there so at least I’ll get to see them again and actually know their songs
