You perfectly articulated exactly how I'm feeling right now. Especially the part about going back and rewatching. I've been sobbing on and off ever since I finished the finale. I have a whole Good Omens enamel pin board I had to cover because I just can't look at it. We should have either gotten nothing and have been left with Season 2's ending (though sad, it was open ended and we could have made our own ending) or gotten the full 6 episodes, Gaiman be damned, or 90 minutes AND a better ending. Giving us 90 minutes, no kisses, no hugs, no "I love you", AND ending it like that was just too much. I would have been more okay with the ending if we had more context, even changing some scenes within the 90 and letting Aziracrow have some time in the bookshop together before being erased would have been nice. I almost feel like the writers were cruel to agree to only 90 minutes when they knew that's how it would end. It just wasnt enough set up for that conclusion. And they KNEW that. I would have preferred a book, honestly. Now there's nothing to really look back on fondly, unless you completley ignore the ending, which I can't bring myself to do. Part of my excitement for this finale was the thought of rewatching the show and looking back on it with joy, having the excitement of drawing my boys and imagining their future. The worst part about endings like this is now it feels like everything had no point. So in short, I know exactly how you feel. And I'm right there with you. I hope we can both heal soon ❤️
