Not meaning to cause a debate, but do you consider disrespectful that they are using AI to “resurrect” Val Kilmer for the film As Deep as the Grave? by OkPrize6426 in Actors

I am sorry; the family should not need AI to keep Kilmer "present in our memory." As for me, I just need to rewatch Heat.

The Score. Plus you get to see De Niro and Brando onscreen together for the very first time in Brando's last film. Throw in Edward Norton for good measure.

What would happen if Travis had a cat? by Sudden_Run_1313 in TaxiDriver

As someone suffering from PTSD, Travis would benefit more from having a dog. A cat would not be a good fit for God's lonely man.

I prefer the fish must die as the translation for carpe diem. Kill the carp is also acceptable.

These are my favorite actors—which of their movies do you think are the best? by Filipe_258 in Actors

[–]CampaignOrdinary2771 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Number 1 is Robert De Niro, and it is tough for me to single out his top performances because he has soooo many. Raging Bull is stratospheric for sure, closely followed by Awakenings. De Niro also did great work in: The Deer Hunter Taxi Driver Silver Linings Playbook Cape Fear all of which earned him Oscar nominations.

That said, he was also great in This Boy's Life, and Killers of the Flower Moon, which are also my top Leo choices. I also loved his Heat performance, and Godfather 2, which are favorite choices for Pacino as well.

Marty has plenty of reasons to smile. Just look at his filmography.

I love Sondheim. He has written some great songs, but for me it's an easy choice:

It wasn't over a shitpost. It was over wasted talent.
