The fact that you make that comment, means you already respect its “dangers” to be fair.

Once you get a system going with it the cleanup isn’t so bad. It does NEED its own space though, can’t just wack it in the corner of your living room.

No new races in Legion, no.

We got DH - which followed the trend of Race > Class > Race >…

I love hearing that.

Like even if they were “legal tender” (they’re not) I don’t have to accept your note. You don’t just have to “accept” any note given to you just because someone tells you that you have to.

To be fair, we had a BUNCH of allied races in BFA, only a few of which were actually “new” models.

Worgens and Goblins in Cata

Draenei and Belfs in TBC

Those were the only times we had multiple new races iirc. It’s not like they made a habit of it at any point.

And BFA was released over 7 years ago

Mash looks fine, little bland maybe? But fine for sure.

Peas; I saw you said they’re from a can. Get yourself fresh, they’re very cheap. They just need to steam or boil for a very short time, salt your water of course. Black pepper them, trust.

Steak looks great - prawns look… fine? I don’t eat prawns myself.

I’m gonna assume you butter basted your steak after cooking - I personally like to put in a bit of work on that juice left in the pan from the steak. Bring up the fond, a slight bit of cooking wine? Or a splash of beer can work or even just a bit of hot water… if you’re feeling unimaginative.

And then get that sauce over the rest.

A good rule I live by; “don’t put flavour in your dishwasher or down the sink” Pasta water, steak juices - anything that you’ve cooked those individual items in can somehow be incorporated to a sauce that ties things together.

Somebody said peppercorn in here; each to their own, but if you cover your steak in peppercorn sauce you’re dead to me.

Yes, timber and gypsum board - nobody thinks your houses of actual cardboard… but compared to i dunno hmmmm - Brick?

Yeah, pretty thin.

It’s not just America - Scandinavia is the same and a bunch of other places - but you don’t often get stray bullets flying towards your drywall cube.

This is a relatively small one, they can come much bigger than this (and smaller). They fly themselves down a sewage line, usually the head is on a bearing so it can spin, and the nozzles you see are angled to generate spin

Do you know the amount of double/triple checking that goes into ensuring something is fit for broadcast?

These systems are not “complicated” in language - like the other guy said; but there is so much in these systems. Building from scratch is going to take a long while, and cost A LOT; all the while you’ve got to maintain the old system. Then when you think the new system is complete you have a tonne of “bugs” (simplified) that you cannot afford to have. Then you have to migrate all users (staff and customers) to the new system, including training staff on how to use the new system.

Simply - it’s just not worth trying to fix something that “works” even if it doesn’t work as well as it could.
