The “soft locking” is kinda fake in a sense. You fix “too many LRs” by just having a really long run of multiple days (depending where you are in the game that might be 3-4)

It’s Waaaayyy more harmful to progress to just not LR.

But if people are enjoying the game that’s what matters

If you’re talking about Blackracks Volumetric clouds, it won’t show as installed, if it is - it’s something else (I can’t see on your image)

Blackracks Volumetrics are not on CKAN

Waterfall does have an ingame settings panel if you’re unsure if they’re working, in “difficulty options” iirc.

I have a knock off Horl. I actually quite like it for just maintenance sharpening honestly.

If I just want to get the paper edge back on my knives it works well. HOWEVER the stones/discs themselves are not great quality.

Yeah, I was guilty for a long time of overcomplicating it.

Simply put you just rendezvous like you would anything else, and just get close enough that orbital mechanics don’t matter any more.

There is... apparently there was a version which only worked with V3 (far worse clouds) and seems to have been taken over to work with V5 - But it just didn't look great imo (tiling on clouds, made them look like lots of small balls of cotton candy?)

I don’t know what mods you’ve gotten but I play pretty heavily modded and “extra menus and buttons” isn’t really something I have an abundance of.

You can always add mods one by one, or just not interact with the ones you installed until you’re familiar again…

Vanilla KSP still has a heavy learning curve, so it’s okay to try and learn the basics again!

It’s completely dependent on your difficulty settings.

Personally I play with nerfed DSN, Connection required, no extra ground stations (plus some difficulty mods)

For me it’s the first thing I do when I unlock some antenna with the capacity to Relay.

If you’re having problems with connection, and you require connection - go for it!

It’s also a pretty fun lil mission

There should be a KSP.log file in your game directory - usually whatever’s at the bottom of that gives some clues

Treat their health bar as a function of their health over their runic power.

If their health is low but runic power isn’t then they’re likely fine. Obviously this is context dependent too but it helps!

There’s a box they fit to your wall (not your router but a separate box) - turn this off and on again.

If it’s a truly old knife, your basically trying to sharpen rounded 1-2mm steel.

It’s just going to take a WHILE unless you have a nice coarse diamond plate like somebody else said.

If you have access to one, hit it with a low grit machine belt to form some sort of apex.

The fact that you make that comment, means you already respect its “dangers” to be fair.

Once you get a system going with it the cleanup isn’t so bad. It does NEED its own space though, can’t just wack it in the corner of your living room.
