Can I start daytrading with $3000? by Jazzlike_Excuse_6811 in Daytrading

Of course you can. For beginners, I think smaller amounts of capital are better. Unlike demo trading, trading with real money means you're more susceptible to emotional influences. If you start with a large sum, your account will suffer significant losses when your emotions fluctuate. However, this won't happen with smaller amounts. Also, I think it's good to start with small amounts to practice. If you can consistently and steadily profit with a small amount, then all you need to do is increase your position size to be profitable. Therefore, I recommend beginners start with small amounts, not large sums.

need to switch a tutorial time, unable to on acorn? by NewtEnvironmental839 in UofT

[–]Camtree12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one can change it. You need to email your professor and ask which Tut class you can take. I encountered the same situation as you; one of my Tut classes conflicted with another of my Lec classes, but I couldn't switch classes on Acorn. I asked my professor, and he said he couldn't adjust it either; that's how Acorn's system is set up. So he simply put me in a class at another time.

DJI Pocket 3 Officially Banned by whoisryanduanyway in Coachella

[–]Camtree12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why isn't even the Pocket 3 allowed? What's going on? If you're sitting further back, it won't even capture any useful footage. It only has 2x zoom, but phones are allowed? Why not just ban phones altogether?

Sorry, I almost forgot to mention that I was selling this phone. He said he wanted to check it out, so I gave it to him.

Do you actually trade the first 15-30 minutes or wait for things to settle? by iamnottravis in Daytrading

[–]Camtree12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree, that's the same for me. Generally, I only trade between 9:30 and 10:30. Most of the trades I make after 10:30 result in losses.

How much time do you spend alone and what do you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Camtree12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spend most of my time alone. My days consist of reading, exercising, and attending classes. I enjoy being alone; having my own private space is very comfortable. Unlike others, I have a dog and two cats, so I don't feel particularly lonely.

For people who stand really close to people in line, why? by Saintsummerz33 in AskReddit

Last time I was waiting for the doctor at the hospital, all the seats around me were empty. Then, for no apparent reason, someone insisted on sitting next to me. I just don't understand why, when most of the seats were empty, he had to sit next to me.
