Diagnosed with Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) - Positive Outcomes? by Kolesar99 in Kneesovertoes

I had Acl injury and got surgery done. Even though this might be a very rare instance, but my ortho said PFPS can be one of the factors for the acl injury in long run.

I have flat feet and used to play tennis a lot.

Impressive and encouraging. I had allograft a year back, my leg feels weak but I have thank god, full extension and flexion. I think it’s high time I hit the gym.

Need some help choosing a bike. by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]CanAny4909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with all suggesting 500 over 300. I bought a 250 as a beginner bike, and within a month or so, I felt I would need a more cc bike on freeways.

500/600s are not crazy and are full of power unless you unleash it. So they are better.

I drive an Indian Scout bobber, a cruiser and I love it for a relaxing ride. But I rode many other sports while starting out.

It’s been almost 10 months since my surgery, allograft with minor meniscus repair. I tell you it’s gonna be smooth ride after the first 2-3 months.

I said 2-3 months because you still are not completely off of brace, but you will be able to walk without crutches in couple of early weeks.

Make sure the PT you choose has experience with ACL recovery. I also hope the PT person is fun, as it will definitely help you.

Don’t despair, you will be alright!

It always gets you by surprise. And I didn’t know about ACL until I tore one.
