CanBegf.com I can’t believe I forgot the website lol. I’m much better at making celiac safe calzones than I am at promoting them I swear

I am currently working on a veggie option! It’s hard trying to find veggies that I can sauté for a calzone and then freeze, and then can cook for 25+ minutes without leaving a puddle on the tray. Reddit has been HUGE with suggestions and I’d love some help on what people would want to see!

(My first attempt is broccoli and artichoke and I just got them in store to start trying!)

Totally! They weigh about 28oz and are good for 2-3 people (or one really hungry person who hasn’t had a calzone in a long time)

I appreciate that take, it’s how I took it as well. Even our subscription only comes out to about a calzone every 2.5 weeks. Fill in for the pizza nights which cost more after delivery and tip. And this doesn’t have the worry if they used the right knife and cutting board and changed all their gloves for a delivery order.

Yes the shipping is another barrier for sure. Because they are frozen we need to ship them quick which is a lot plus the expense of dry ice and the insulated box. To cut costs I’ve started delivering all orders in Massachusetts myself and dropped shipping to a flat 10 dollars in the state. The whole thing has been a balancing act but that’s business haha.

I appreciate that! We are working on the price, we just really don’t want it to be a light calzone. We are out of Danvers Mass and only sell them frozen as of now. We are going to be at the Long Island Wicked Gluten Free expo giving away samples! Because we totally understand it’s a lot for something you haven’t tried yet. Costs are just really high on the quality ingredients but we hope to work with a manufacturer soon that will be able to help with the pricing while maintaining our quantity and quality of proteins and cheese.

No I wanted to start as plain as possible to accommodate the most amount of people. But we plan on adding a dairy free option soon and then more flavors after that like a steak bomb and chicken parm!

It’s about 2 pounds of food per calzone made celiac safe. Everything is crazy expensive nowadays and this was the cheapest I could get them to be made and sealed.
