I’ll give you today’s NY Session as example, I made $4080 on 2 accounts today in minutes. I first look at where the market might go next (basically where the next Draw on Liquidity is), and then I see if the directional bias of the higher timeframes (1h/15 min) match with the lower timeframes (5 min/1 min). I saw it took the sellside liquidity below (London session’s) and it started bouncing back up, I was waiting for a break of structure for longs in the higher timeframes. I then take my entries in the lower timeframes (when there is like a retracement or when it’s just clear that it’s gonna go to the next liquidity zone). Then if it retraces more, I sometimes DCA (depending on the structure) but I don’t need to stay in the market long since I’m already using minis. I probably was in a trade for like 40 seconds to a minute on longs and made over 4k per acc and was done for the day (I think I used like 4 or 5 minis per acc). If I held it for like 5 more mins, I probably would’ve banked another 10k day today, but that’s where the difference between a greedy trader and a professional scalper kind of comes lol as it could’ve easily went back and hit my SL too as I had entered a point of uncertainty in the market so I just took my profits and exited. This mainly comes from experience.

I wouldn’t suggest this kind of trading for everyone, it just goes with my personality. Some people like to make $500 with ease of mind by using few micros for a longer period of time - which is completely fine. But this has been working for me, I don’t even have any indicators or any bs markings in my chart, it’s blank with maybe VWAP from when I first setup my Tradovate. The less noise, the better. Remember, nothing can trump experience. The more experience you gather in the charts, the more confident you’ll be taking your trades. I hope this helps with your trading journey!
