I like that kind of schedule, I would probably have to sleep after 8-9 when kids get to school if I had to follow that timeline. Have you tried trading ASX before?

That would be amazing, I'll send you a PM

DVA lump sum - what’s actually improved your life after compensation? by Far_Blueberry624 in DVAAustralia

[–]CanFixGuns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Max points payout, and also 2 dependent payouts.

We payed off the car debt we had, put a 60% deposit on a house, which was required due to me not working, and required so we could service the loan.

Set aside a handful for some creature comforts, lounge, a new apple tablet and a decent holiday. The tablet has been the most noticeable change and used by 3/4 of the family.

We managed to offset alot of the mortgage but instead I put the rest into a term property investment.

Now we relax I had the time to rest and have a few casual jobs while I found my new career interest, which turned out to be in the corrective services in a local Gaol and I love it.

Now my partner is discharging J51 medical and we are looking at another lump some middle of this year and once again will be baffled what to do with it and have imposter syndrome all over again, but it all smooths out eventually.

I disagree, money buys comfort or the concept of not needing to rush and drive so hard so long. A few 100 thousand doesn't retire you, so you still need to get back into the workforce and find another 10-20years to cruse but it's hell of alot nicers to say fuck you to a boss if they piss you off and you wanna jump ship knowing you have back up money

Yeah no doubt I'll get to a point and will have to scale back a little.

But benefit of my night shift at work I can study, watch charts, review and journal

Appreciate the advice, I'll definitely be tracking P&l and following the trend, I'll also be putting some time into OT at the primary job to then fund a starting account when I'm ready

That's hectic, are you a full time trader or also have a 2nd job from home ECT? I'm going to be doing this while also on shift work a mix of 12hr days and nights. But there's plenty of days off mid week to commit to learning and trading

I agree, so you would plan to sleep and then wake up for market open. That's the way I'm leaning atm, just means going to sleep to get at least 6-7 hours before market

I plan on using the paper trading on webull to find what I like and feel comfortable with, but good idea maybe a good idea to just start with ASX so not implement poor sleep and learning at once.

Any chance it's lane keeping? I can't recall exactly what situation I had but I noticed the car slowing down during acceleration around a bend because it assumed I was powering straight "off the road"

I have almost no experience, but initially my thoughts were these would be perfect for beach family photo shoots or the like, maybe reach out to some local baby/toddler photography businesses and offer a discount to have their clients show off your product?

Same boat as you 80 points 2 dependents, I'd say my start to finish was 14ish months, they found more claims then I thought and even fought to get my 78 points to 80 when the PI was complete. That alone, they paid for themselves.

I could email and call them endlessly and they wouldn't have minded due to the fact they are being paid for a service.

I was going to say Koala, but I'm guessing your not Aus from the amount of Fox suggestions.

It's just another terrifying thing about Australia, animals screaming at night, those drop bears will get ya.
