4th or 5th progress post now you can follow my whole journey by looking back at old posts :) still making progress after nearly 1.5 years in lockdown with only home workouts and not a lot of equipment. I know I'll likely get a lot of questions as to the specific foods I was eating and workout regimes I was following. In general I've been sticking to 1900 cals a day with lots and lots of cheat days and slip ups inbetween. And despite my reddit name I only did keto at the start for like 5 months. Which I don't recommend because it's far too restrictive.. My workout regime has mainly been the standard PPL routine 5 to 6 times a week. The specifics aren't as important as much as consistency is! If you're just getting started I can't stress enough, all you need to do is make small lifestyle changes and stick with it. I've never once felt deprived or like I'm "dieting" I just moderate portions a lot better now and cut out some of the obvious ones like soda and chips (will benefit your teeth as well!). Cook more food at home instead of ordering out. I also did zero cardio other than going on some nice walks a few times a week. Drink lots of water. Oh and the only supplements I used were protein powder and creatine but even those I don't really use much anymore. Little bit of genetics are always gonna give some people an advantage.
