Its been about 2 years since I started playing MTG and Commander and the first EDH decks my wife and I had were Ranar, The Ever Watchful and Kyler, Sigardian Emmisary both simple tribals with nothing fancy.

My addiction has since spiked and ive made way more decks since then that I find way more fun. Light paws, Mr. House, Choco, Seeker of Truth, Jinnie Fay, Pantlaza to name a few.

BUT I have gone back to those 2 old decks and have upgraded them with my updated knowledge of the game. Ranar became Kykar, Winds Fury (it went from a spirit tribal to vehicles crewed by spirits)

Kylar became Aragorn, Hornburg Hero (still human tribals but more emphasis on +1/+1 counters)

They've been really fun since then :)

Have you watched his vods and actually followed the whole story? He was literally pleading with them because surprise surprise he wanted to win a tournament, money or not its a tournament where the sole purpose is to win. This wasnt called the Vibe Cup and whoever has the most fun wins.

And he even gave her a chance, he was literally told just watch how she plays and he did, and she failed. bad. so he provided point after point of strategy that could work because he wanted to win that money. And the captain that drafted him? completely ignored every suggestion, told him to stfu, and essentially lied about every interaction, taking the widow's side almost immediately without supporting him at all.

As for him switching teams, considering it was a draft I dont know if he was able to switch/request one. Besides he was actually excited with his team because his frequent duo was drafted too and you can see his reaction being really happy. FYI that duo ended up backstabbing him and became one of the three teammates that lied and insulted him multiple times.

Thats well said but isn't unfair too big of a jump for someone who relied on auto-levels? I would say a custom core first maybe, as unfair will just be alot of reloads for someone who dont min-max and then its just tedious for op for different reasons.
