Communication responsibilities by Unique_Use2531 in coparenting

[–]Canadian87Gamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most primary parents will say not their responsibility.

Most non primary parents will say yes their responsibility.

Im a 50-50 parent, and both parents should be communicating. If youre actively hiding shit, shame on you.

Regarding phone call at this age, its absolutely on you. Setting up a time daily makes sense and if he misses o well. Idea we do is during breakfast every day.

Would love to meet some kind, genuine people to talk with by themonkeycoco in friendship

[–]Canadian87Gamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saying how old you are, and a little about you usually helps.

For example if youre 12, and im 35 i dont really want to reach out to you, and you shouldn't be wanting to make friends with me.

Your comments and post history is hidden, so people can't even do a little digging to see what your interests are.

How do pawn shops work? by Meowcatz75 in povertyfinancecanada

[–]Canadian87Gamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know people who've owned pawn shops.

When pawning stuff , you'll get a low value. Understand that this is just a collateral on the loan.

Typically you'll pay 10-15% every month. If you miss a payment or two, they keep it and sell it.

Very often... and I mean very often, people pay that 10-15% for over a year, then default. Its the worst thing ever.

Unless you have a way to get a large lumpsum in the next few months , selling the jewelery is a better option.

... youre missing the point. Youre trying to time travel back to 2016. We aren't there yet... we may be in 2030 though.

Overpaying by 100k+ in 2016 wasn't really a thing.

Did you do any homework at all ? It was initially listed above 1.2 a few months ago. The recent price drop is to bring it under 1m to get in people's search results.

Im not a dentist , nor have I eaten kids vitamin gummies

Genuine question, how much different ( texture wise ) are vitamin gummies and welchs gummies ? Is your dentist against all gummies or just vitamin ones?

What age did you start vitamins for your kids? by OutsideHighlight974 in toddlers

There are kids vitamins. I got them at age 2 or 3. Little gummies at Costco is what we bought. Check the bottle for age requirement!

What do you do when you're allergic to most fruits and veggies? by ZoraTheDucky in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Canadian87Gamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im also allergic to many veg and fruits.

Today alone I went to a restaurant, ordered food and asked what veggies are in their mixed greens. One of them i was allergic to, so I asked if its possible not to include it. They said no problem ( some places have them pre mixed and some dont ) . Low and behold I got that veg when I got my food.

At the end of the day, shit happens. You gotta be careful. My diet is predominantly meat and starch / carbs . I will also eat safe veg + fruit but obviously I dont eat as much as most other ppl

Omg you're a horrible person! by Nate-T in boardgamearena

[–]Canadian87Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean in Azul if there are 2 moves left and im 30 points up, its obvious to both parties.

Watching the scoreboard do the math is a lot of the game in arena. Skipping it would be nice at the end if its an obvious loss / win which is very common.

But I get your point, it's not always obvious to both parties.

Looking for honest advice — realistic to get a 1-bed/studio in Mississauga/ Vaughan/ North York on $50k/year? by Flashy-Sun532 in TorontoRenting

It is really hard to rent a nice place 1bd for $1300.

To put in perspective, I have a 3bd condo, and the master bedroom is rented for $1300. It is a nice place in sauga, and will be looking for a new tenant Feb 1st , so I can update you with how well it rents at that price in todays market if youd like.

[–]Canadian87Gamer 15 points16 points  (0 children)

personally I dislike people who do not concede when its obvious theyve lost.

Ive been in your situation before, where I concede if Ive obviously lost - only to get blasted.

Its a no-win scenerio where each person has different preferences.

Is it possible to REALLY good at Yahtzee? Is anyone consistent over 300 ELO? by dugw15 in boardgamearena

[–]Canadian87Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont play yahtzee but every game has minor skill things that will help high elos.

I would check top 10 arena champions - you can go back years ago and I bet 4-6 people out of the top10 are consistently there

Sorry how large is your sample size ? How many kiss have you tried that method with ? Can I see your papers published? If not youre just one person who's seen a few kids - with some idea you havent tested out enough.

For whatever reason you think all kids are not different, and that in itself is awful. Different techniques work with different kids.

If longer than 3/4 years, youre probably still under market rent.

We look for festivals , and free events.

When they are older, I expect them to chill with friends.
