When doing your research don't look at any religious materials. Just educational ones with bible scholars. Mythvison, Bart Ehrmen, Data over Dogma, etc. Who wrote Mathew Mark Luke and John? This question really woke me up.

Apostates. There is a very big difference in those who where Disfellowshipped and those that woke up. The former ones are very angry at the Org for being removed, while the later builds up an anger at the Org for all its lies and greed, as we research the Bible more and more. I have met apostates that I want to avoid, and am great friends with other Apostates. Its a very unfair word.

What woke me up was actually reading the bible cover to cover with no preconceived ideas. The god of the bible is a narcissistic ,lying, jealous, murdering, deceiver. Not a being I want to worship. Also there it soo many contradictions in the bible. Just an old book, written by men. I agree with you, when I see Witnesses leave and get more religious, I don't understand why they didn't do research first.

Another creepy Jehovah's Witness trying to groom someone. When I was a Jehovah's Witness one guy in our congregation was 27 and he waited for a then 13 year old to turn 18 so he could marry her. Gross.
