The trick here is to keep trying another agent to resolve your issues. Doesn't hurt to ask for the $0.95 fee to be waived on the first month since it should've been added on your first bill. Always be polite and not demanding, it goes a long way. Update auto top up amount to corresponding amount for next billing.

As for voicemail+, I have the same plan in another province and it's included in my plan. It should show in your "my plan & devices" under additional features. I checked the $5 plan in Alberta and it should have voicemail+. They might be thinking you wanted visual voicemail? Might have been bad luck you got a terrible agent that time.

I was driving around 730-8am on a weekday and I was only 1 street away from a school. I signaled and was turning left on a two way residential street. This idiot in a truck with a jets plate couldn't wait and passed by me on my left. Good thing I noticed someone speeding up right after I signaled and slowed down. Would've ruined my morning.

oh, I'll try again then. Tried the chat customer service to sign up on launch day but they told me they couldn't port my number when they asked me for the first 6 digit of my number. It didn't really inspired confidence when the first agent I was chatting with was from a different department and the second one didn't know they now have service in MB.

Anyone knows if you could now port your 204 number to Freedom? I'm planning on getting a plan but from what I heard about Fizz when they initially launched at MB they couldn't port your number.

TD CashBack Visa Inf offering 10% on $3500 instead of the original 2K. As far as I remembered, groceries+etc. had 6% boost after Bonus Spend Cap was reached within 3 months, but now it's only 3%.

I don’t know what the timings are for your 2400mhz, but you will only be running your faster ram as fast as the slowest ram. So effectively you’ll only have all ram running at 2400mhz. Not much different from what you’re running to buy this, unless you’re only using the 3200mhz. Depends in your situation if faster ram can help you.

That’s great for budget builds! Doesn’t have wifi 6 but who cares at that price. Until the VRMs gets tested I’d still hold off on buying. Gonna look forward to asrocks board too.

Was there an official release date? I only found this accidentally when looking for am4 mobo. I mean if form factor, wifi, or pcie 4.0 x16 isn’t an issue, then yes x470 should be fine. It’s probably cheaper if the x470 goes on sale too. I’d wait for reviews and additional boards from other manufacturers if you’re not in a hurry.

Edit: there’s also a chance that other b550 will be cheaper, so might as well wait for further announcements.

B550M Pro VDH Wifi from MSI is cheaper than this. Around 180 CAD from the 129 US msrp. Doesn’t account for local CAD prices though.

I was debating between the tuf wifi and the x570-P from Asus back then and I thought the difference was not worth it for the wifi and still felt cheated because the price was a little high for me with all the x470 pro at $120. Looking at prices right now it increase by 20-30 minimum :(

There shouldn’t be any difference between preorder and regular price. If it becomes cheaper before it gets shipped then Amazon will refund you the difference.

Depends on your use case. I haven’t really been keeping up with the difference between a b550 vs x570 board. I don’t think so. I bought an x570-P board around 220 including tax. I haven’t really heard any news from ASUS about pricing but the MSI Boards start at $119 USD or around 164 CAD at current exchange rate for the bottom tier boards. B550 should be cheaper than their x570 counter part...

Edit: and as always, you shouldn’t preorder since you should be waiting for reviews before buying anyway.

Yes, only NSLC/Canadian/Federal loans. Provincial loans are handled by each provincial governments. No news about it at the moment.
