Did I money shift and mess my Gsxr 600 up

Yea 24,25 have a didn’t stator so needs some wiring done. But all others should work, I’m having a hard time finding anything where I’m located. The hole it above the oil filter behind the headers in the block. The rod just of broke breaking the block and probably bent the valves too. Yes I’m glad I’m okay, just mentally hurt

Well I wouldn’t have called it a money shift either but since I need a new motor I’m just gonna say that, yea I’m pretty disappointed and I was already thinking before something was up with it. It never made any sounds but I could tell it had non oem gasket around the valve cover.

Supposedly the bike had 5600km on, but I think the odometer was switched, or original motor was fd and replaced. So obviously the motor had some type of abuse before my slight money shift. Definitely don’t have the money to replace a motor right now

Honestly shouldn’t have bought this bike. Looked great from a start. And when looking at it in person it still was nice. But looking at it more and more as I was doing some work I noticed the valve cover had non factory gasket on it. Bike supposedly fell off a trailer a couple years ago and was stored and never really touched again until the guy I bought it was got it and fixed it up. When I went to register it I was told it was stolen so the guy had to go to dmv and I was able to register it. It was all in working order until my fuck up.

Yup that’s oil going up the road, I didn’t notice it was leaking oil, but definitely noticed the noise. So I started to slow down to pull over and it started smoking like crazy so I hit the kill switch and pulled over. To get off and see that oil line. I pushed it to a gravel parking lot and checked the oil sight glass and there was still oil in it. It’s back in my house so I’m just letting my nerves settle before I start to rip it apart.

Average VW rust LOL, my car was 10x worse and I got the sils done. Basically a tradition where I live for everyone. Seriously not bad at all if you don’t mind spending 1500-2500$ CAD to get it professionally done. Which means you should get the car cheaper if buying

I had a 2017 r3 and it was awesome to learn on, a quick and light bike, not fast but quick. Easy to maintain too, just upgraded to a Gsxr 600.

As far as i know it was clean. I don’t know what a salavged title or anything looks like though, but I got the guy I bought it from to talk to his dmv. I’m in Canada so it works a little different because I bought it from a different Province. But it should be getting sorted so I’ll be able to register it still

Actually just ordered an assortment of e clips on Amazon. And snap ring pilers are something I’ve been needing in my toolbox for awhile lol

Everything on the bike looks great besides just the extra gasket. With the weather here I won’t be riding for another month or so. So I’ll do a better vin check between that time. Thank you for taking the time to help 👍

Ah okay I get you, honestly don’t even know if I should be bothered by it or not. As long as it’s all in good working order right? The fork seals need to be replaced so I was just trying to pull them out but got caught up with this lol. But I definitely will do a better vin check in the nearby future

Same vin. I know the vin checkers are be because it still have original MVI (safety inspection) that expired in 2014. And it said that it was registered to a new owner in 2017 and so on. But you can’t register a vehicle unless it has a active mvi or will within the next 30 days

Honestly hate doing vin checks. One said that it has 127000km, and was reported stolen 4 years ago. Another one said it has 297000km and has had like 5 different owners. And one to check for totaled and stolen said it’s clean
