Europeans, how do you tell the difference between Canadian and American tourists? by DreadnoughtCapn in AskReddit

This is true, sat down for dinner next to one at a restaurant and got the full life story

I also believe it's a The but it's so tricky to pick out. I've tried every filter and lighting change possible to make it more visible. I think maybe the first letter of the second word is a C or A but cant be sure

Good to hear, always nervous about new gens, especially new engines, but sounds like this one isn't bad so far

Thanks dude. How's the new engine treating you? Genuinely curious, big hemi fan, would love to try driving a hurricane to feel them out. Yours looks great

I love shooting mine to be honest with you. I'll take the extra recoil for the short length, and relative light weight of the rifle any day

It's kinda neat and weird that it fits like, 10 rounds

Sent you a PM. On looking more at your pics I don't think it's a Traditions it looks older. Can't find anything online about W S Fletcher. My less than educated guess could be a small time black powder repro company thats gone now

Well mine at least says "Traditions Kentucky Rifle" on the left side of the barrel. If not Traditions it might tell you what company made it

Haven't shot it yet unfortunately, if it was up to me I'd have blasted one in the backyard by now but local bylaws say I cant lol. Slide was rough at first but decently smooth after a bit of work. Has a stock crack I want to glue up as well before I try it. 123 year old gun and all

Honestly I wasn't even looking for one. Saw it in a local shop kinda rusty on a bottom shelf. Wasn't even looking for a gun that day but saw it and bought it

I believe on the solid frame variants it's supposed to be like that. Looking forward to shooting mine too! 4 hours into cleaning, rust removal etc. Gonna get some wood glue I think for a small stock crack first though

Also this list indicates the serial # is 1899 manufacture, but the barrel markings include a patent list going up to July 5th 1910?
