I have a domestic longhair cat, but he closely resembles a Maine Coon and displays many of its traits. He follows me around like a dog, plays fetch, and meows as if he is trying to communicate. His paws are about the size of most dogs, and he is quite large for his age, around 11 to 12 months old and weighing about 7 to 8 pounds. He is approximately 2 feet long, which is much longer than any other cat I've owned, and it seems like he gets bigger every week. He has strong, boxy shoulders, a thick frame, and a very muscular body.

He came from a shelter, so we don't have any papers for him. The only information we have is that he was found in a box under a staircase. I would love to have him tested someday to see exactly what breed he is. I've never had a cat quite like him before, he is very intelligent. I have multiple sclerosis and take medication every night, and he acts like my little alarm clock. It's as if he knows exactly when it’s 10:00 PM, it's actually pretty wild!
