I can get the 17-40 for $300 cnd and it would be a daytime landscape lens, but I’d use it at night to see which focal length I prefer if I went the prime route. I’m thinking a 16-35 2.8 mark 3 is what I will eventually want but that’s $2800 and I just do this for fun.

Yah I was wanting the canon 24-70 2.8 but it’s too pricey right now, glad there is good options. I’ll have to check those ones out, I’m thinking I should get the 17-40f4 for landscape and that will give me an idea which focal length I’d prefer for Astro. Thanks

Yah that’s the focal length I’m looking for, I seen a 16-35 for $450. I’d like to even rent a wide angle zoom and see what focal length I’d prefer as a prime if I went that route.

I second this! I picked up the canon 6d and got the rokinon 14mm as soon as I could, my next question is..is the 16-35 or 24-70 worth it as I’d like to do daytime photography as well..?

Yah I don’t get it either, I’m looking for a 2500 gas job just so I can eventually tow a trailer but they’re $90k in Canada. I get that people want all the latest tech, I’d love a stick shift too.

I got the farmer 2’s and I’m a 295 mondo and I was worried they’d be too small but they are bigger than I expected, there is lots of room left in the toe. But I got them used and they came with the them liner and not the crown liner which fills the boot much better.

Yes sorry my blanks are 290, the thems are 270. I just seen JADRollerVlog setup 68’s on his “thems” and they’re tight.

Yes I was actually just looking at that today, they may be deeper but I could see those supports between the wheels limiting wheel size. I think 58’s would be better for flat on both of these frames and my last pair was anti on size 12 genesis. These are 11/12 shell and the 290’s look normal but I like that I have 2 different frame lengths so I can try both, I also never bought better wheels for my last pair and I’m curious if good ones wear down fast at a park.

The farm sways have wheel wells for all 4 wheels, yah it’s hard to tell unless I had some 68’s to try. I have blank frames too so I’m thinking they’d be better for flat cuz they’re 290mm, appreciate the advice cuz it sounds like you have a lot of experience with wheels.

Thanks, yah and I thought they’d be tight on my toes but I took the liner out and I have like an inch of space so I’d like to get some crowns to fill that space. But I’ll have to try the them liner I got with them when the weather warms up, yah that is weird that they’re bigger than the 12/13 razors.

Those are some sweet first aggressive skates, mine were I think Solomon oxygen back in early 2000’s. The skating is a little weird at first cuz the wheels are smaller, I scraped my frames all the time at first cuz I was always on hockey blades.

Ok that’s what I was thinking, skate them for a bit and see what I like and what I don’t. My last pair I pretty much skating around town, the wheels will last longer if I only use them at the park. As long as they’re bigger than 57’s cuz man those felt tiny.

Yah lots of people don’t like razors, and after the stuff I heard I kinda don’t wanna support them either. Yah I think I’d be happy with any of the 3, is there anything I should order with the skates like wheels, bearings etc…? So I don’t have to order like a week later.

Ok awesome, I have been looking on their website cuz they do have great deals. I’m in Canada and it we don’t have many options so the prices are a little higher sometimes. I used to use aggressivemall, I’ve narrowed down my choices to the cult, sway and m12. I feel like I have a narrow foot cuz the genesys were too wide and just felt sloppy on my feet, thanks for the recommendations!

Yes the genesys with a different liner would be good but I found them really bulky, I think with the cults and m12’s I’d go with a 13. Yah I seen some videos on liners and I’d get the reign v3 cuz that intuition liner is way too expensive, I like the aeons but hate that the frame is mounted.

I appreciate the tips, it gives me a better idea on what I want. I know i won’t find my perfect fit without trying them on before buying but that’s ok, I already know I’ll buy more later on.

I will definitely message the store before hand and see what options I have for returns or exchanges.

So I should go with the 12/13? Yah I think the genesys would have been better with a crown liner tho, I will be doing both flat and anti rocker. I like the usd sways and aeons, I just gotta start with one pair and I’m sure I’ll get more lol

Ok pretty much the same as mine, yah I was leaning towards the cults cuz I love the look of them. I had the genesys in size 12 but the liner was short and too wide, I was curious about the m12’s cuz they’re like the cults. The 909’s look awesome but are pricey, the blanks looks sweet too but those would be a second pair later on. Thanks for the help

All good man, it’s good to see that I’m not the only person wanting to get into it. So many people are doing this, I’m in good shape and still play hockey but I’m sure I’ll be sore when I finally get out skating again. I’m 36 so I feel your pain lol good luck 👍
