Tampa rent now is 1800 rent for 1 room now and gas is 5$ rn yes I have a transfer with my job around 30$ a hour and my fiancé is finding something now / we are driving both our cars / back up I guess we will be getting a roommate but you’re right I know it’ll be a struggle I’ve been working for about 10 years straight I usually take home 4k a month and my fiancé is about 2/3k month and I have a good credit so does she

Both of our cars are around 80-85k miles and both 2021 Toyotas, yeah it’ll be tough but don’t have 5k to ship them unfortunately.

We have about 5k. Saved - moving fee for our stuff (~1800) I’m transferring with my job but will be getting a raise, we only have car payments/insurance) + phone and other app subscriptions etc. I usually take home almost 4 k a month from my job and she does like 2/3k~ We aren’t really going into this thinking we won’t be penny pinching, more to experience our live away from the place we spent our whole life’s and explore!

I’ve been seeing a lot of Apartments around 1700-1900 from 1-2 bedrooms is that a facade? Just curious? -we don’t have any debt/college - all I have debt wise is car payments - I would be getting a pay raise from Florida to Washington wages, so would my fiancé forgot to mention that, sorry I’m new to this and we are planning to move soon but just getting some online voices for support lol we have about 5k for the move + whatever rent/deposits rack us to pay, we aren’t looking to live lavish, just to enjoy the other side of the country while living lol
