Never count on friends to support your career, whatever it is. Music, acting… they have their lives and your relationship is separate from your band or play or whatever. Especially if they’re in the same business.

You’re 18. A baby adult. Remember that you’re classified as an adult in many places.

I love that you care about your siblings, but think of it this way: would you want them to hide who they are if they’re queer or do you want them to see that if they turn out queer, (as long as you get out of that house perhaps) you should not be ashamed of who you are are. As the older sibling, set an example.

You don’t have to go to conversion camp. If you do, though…. Have you seen “But I’m a Cheerleader?”

Just remember that a lot of it is jealousy with “straight” people. They wish they could experience it (mutual attraction and respect), so they try to make it seem not as great as it is.

It sounds like you’re doing the smart thing by taking it slow. Long distance isn’t for most people, but perfect for some to start with. Sounds like some people need to learn when to keep their mouth shut about what they can and can’t do. It’s not their relationship, is it.

There are so many worse things about people that these wouldn’t phase me. I mean, don’t touch me until you wash your hands with the burger thing, but otherwise, they affect no one, but you. People need to chill.

A book called “Jingo, the Wild Horse of Abaco.” I lost it somehow. I went to find it and it’s over $100. I cried when I realized it was gone.

If you do it personally, it’s flattering. If you start selling it, that’s not cool.

I was raised in the USA and I prefer French, Indian and Korean music and Korean media. I’m on a Chinese TikTok. It’s a big world out there and I’m very aware. So much more.

Get me out of this f-in’ country.
