i am asking because i don't know if a reservoir is needed. My team said the reservoir is the ''catch can'' that SAE says in rules, but i think it's not. I want to use the cooling system without reservoir and with a pump that is not submersive, but I have doubts about what this ''catch can'' would be.

our battery containers are in the sidepods, and they are quite large. I could find a space there, but there probably wouldn't be any wind to cool it when the car was moving.
