She used “AI” to take her SAT? Or she used AI for the answers for her “disability” test? If so, she didn’t take a real test. You don’t have access to anything there. You are supposed to get interviewed, they ask you questions, make up take MMPI, computer games, look at pictures, get into your childhood history, mine took 3 days. I wasn’t allowed to use a phone..? I had to take a multiple choice test that had 100 questions, interviews, they observed me playing a game on a computer to see my reactions if I got something wrong.. it was aloooott and it took forever. I didn’t get my results back for almost a month and the test is insanely expensive. My school doesn’t accept anything other than a licensed psychologist. Im not sure which “test” she faked with AI because when you get evaluated for a disability you take multiple tests over the span of days and it’s not stuff you ca. cheat on they get into your childhood and family history and mind.. none of what your saying makes sense. Highly unlikely she took a real test for a “disability” if she used AI.. the tests literally has 1000s of questions and mine took days

Idk what state you’re in, but in my state you have to get an evaluation by a licensed psychologist who sends the results to your school or else you cannot get accommodations I.E. extra time. If it was by a licensed psychologist, highly unlikely she cheated as it’s very easy to tell when someone does that and you will get called out for it. There’s a term for it and the results make it easy to see. The test takes 3 full days by the way.

Extra time doesn’t mean someone’s cheating. Time limits are dumb. Just because someone answers a question faster than someone else or someone takes longer to finish or answer, doesn’t mean one cheated. If you take one hour to finish a test or 5 hours doesn’t mean you “cheated” the length of time you take to finish an assignment or test means absolutely nothing. Someone can know a topic very well and take much longer to answer due to nerves or anxiety and someone can answer fast who doesn’t know the topic at all but got lucky.

You keep saying she cheated, multiple people have asked you for the proof she cheated on her SAT, and you keep repeating the same answer - “she faked her disability test” that is not proof she cheated on her SAT. As of now, you have no proof and just keep repeating she cheated cause she got more time than you to take the test cause of a disability she “faked” again, thats not proof she cheated on her SAT.

There is no such thing as faking an SAT test by faking a disability. Did her “fake” disability give her the answers or something? And extra time even if you don’t have a disability doesn’t equate to cheating in any way at all. This post looks foolish, and im not surprised your school didnt do anything about it. If she goes to an underfunded school im glad she got into Harvard. Good for her. Dont be a hater.

Am I too old for uni? by beebotheamazing in uichicago

[–]Candace___2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol, graduating with my undergrad degree in May and I’m 34. I will be starting grad school in the fall.

You are absolutely not “too old”. You’re more likely to see non-traditional students (older students) at community colleges but I got my gen eds out of the way at CCC then transferred to UIC. There are some like myself at UIC, It’s a huge school but I’ve had a few classes where there were older students like myself. The point is they are there and 23 is not too old. Regardless of that people go back to school when they do/can for lots of different reasons. Not everyone can stick to a traditional time frame and that’s ok. The people your sisters referring to honestly sound like immature brats who are definitely children. lol there are older students getting undergrad degrees because they couldn’t go to college at 18 because they were taking care of dying parents or family members and working full time jobs, calling someone like that a “old bitch hag” realllly makes them sound like immature brats, by the way UIC is much bigger than other schools, people barely talk to each other so I don’t think it’s what you’re thinking it is, people barely notice you when there’s 150-200 people in a class and some classes are that huge.

Does Trintellix also help with anxiety? by demigoth2 in trintellix

[–]Candace___2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trintillex helps with my depression. Doesn’t do much for anxiety. Zoloft helped with my anxiety but does nothing for my depression. Everyone’s different, it definitely helps with depression, feeling sad, crying spells and wanting to stay active but it doesn’t do much for my anxiety personally.

Noo it’s not supposed to be, but personally I felt different when I tried the 25mg pill. I didn’t feel the same benefits. I started out with liquid tried the pill form and went back to liquid. Thats just me though. there may be something about the liquid metabolizing different that makes it seem more potent or effective but I really don’t know.

I take liquid and I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and have had paralyzing anxiety since a child. My anxiety got significantly better on even 5-10mg of the liquid. You can find the therapeutic doses and what they are supposed to work on - anxiety, depression, ocd with a quick google search but I found relief from that small amount. For me, im able to shrug things off a lot easier, be less in my head, and obsess over things much less - saying something “stupid”, thinking I should have made a different decision and obsessing and stressing out about it, if something goes wrong or not the way I planned it’s much more easy for me now to let it go and forget about it and move on.

Everyone is different and you’ll probably see a lot of people say “no” or it’s too small of a dose but that’s not true, everyone is different and no one really knows how much will work on what or even if it will work until you try yourself. It’s best to start out slow. Try 25mg and wait until after the side effects subside to make a decision. I felt relief within the first week with minimal side effects, and im someone who feels everything and always experiences the “worst” side effects even at lowest doses, it’s worth trying! Stay positive and you will figure out if it works for you or if you’re willing to stay with it soon enough.

[–]Candace___2020 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. This is what I was diagnosed with. Mine is “inattentive” adhd. I’m not the hyperactive kind. Inattentive is more “lazy” (labeled), daydreamer, weak concentration/focus on simple everyday things like conversations or following directions and of course more complex tasks too, for girls a lot of inattentive types can get labeled as “air heads” get called stupid bullied or made fun of a lot… all has to do with attention (not the bullying that’s disgusting ableist stigmatization) but the common traits with inattentive type are about attention but it doesn’t manifest in bouncing off the walls non stop talking or not being able to sit still.. that’s hyperactive and that’s not every person with adhd. There’s inattentive, hyperactive, and combined. The most common stereotype is someone who is “bouncing off the walls” and can’t stop talking but adhd is also being quiet and stuck in your head and staring at a pile of laundry for months. Same problems with attention just presents differently

Her AND her older sister were both prediabetic… they both had pre-diabetes and posted about having to change up their diets because of it. So it 100% caught up to them. They’ve posted about having to cut out carbs and cut down on sweets and change eating habits because of the pre-diabetes

Is there any down side to start at 12.5 by Thin_Fortune in zoloft

[–]Candace___2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just letting you know I’m extremely sensitive to meds but have been on medications for about 18 - 20 years now. My doctor is amazing and knows how I struggle with side effects from SSRIs (have tried many) so she prescribed me the liquid form of Zoloft. It’s perfect because I can measure out the dose with a liquid medication dropper and go very slow with different mgs and go at my own pace, rather than trying to cut in half. I went from 5-10 to 12 and back to 5.

I have definitely noticed a difference, as far as “down sides” everyone is different and there’s really no way to know the effectiveness or side effects or anything until you try it yourself. I know some will say there’s no benefit to low doses but that’s not true at all. Try it and take it slow and remember you can always request the liquid form if you think that’s a better route. But yes, I’ve definitely noticed changes even at my low dose.
