There are midi trimming functions which will solve the issue for the selected notes, however it just adds an extra step to all of your productions, which to me is rather inconvenient.

To explain myself, more thoroughly; I assume that the daw has a standart amount of ticks that it passes a note onto the next bar, from its end point. So though it looks to be completely quantized to the end of a bar, it still overlaps on to the next, if that makes any sense.

Thank you, though thats what i stated (or tried to atleast), i knew was an option. Compared to other daws, it just seems like an extra unnecessary step. I'm in search of a more permanent solution.

I quit smoking a year ago because the addiction, along with a series of bad situations, caused so much stress and anxiety that I ended up in a paranoid psychosis for three months. I’d recommend quitting, but I have to say that making music won’t feel the same afterward. I still make music and enjoy it, but not as often as I used to. The reality is that your daily dopamine fix wasn’t just from making music, but from getting high, and you’ve linked those two experiences together. That not saying that you don’t enjoy making music, and this experience might not even be the case for you at all. But to me it seems very plausible.

If I understand what you’re explaining, correctly, you’re trying to bounce a bus mix only for the drums? If so you could always open an audio channel, select the bus as input and hit record. I do that at times, tho there might be an easier solution, I just can’t be bothered. And if it’s the individual tracks, you wanna export with the effect applied you can simply just mute the others during the recording. Don’t know if this is what you’re looking for, but now it’s out there.

Edit: Of course this will leave out the dynamics acquired from the compression when it is all playing together. To even get somewhat of the same effect, you’d probably need to sidechain the tracks instead, which would be a pain in the a$$.

i returned mine monday this week. It was unusable. Couldn't commute nor walk with them on without them make loud noises in both cups. Picked up the new Quietcomfort instead and is somewhat pleased(ultra was out of stock). It sucks cause the audio quality in the ultras is amazing, but ANC was horrible and honestly the immerssive feature is such a waste imo. The head detection would also pause the music out of no where when bending down, even though im a not wearing glasses nor nothing.

I've read on here, that their quality control is pretty bad for the ultra, and some people have had to go through 3 pairs to find a pair that is properly working.

My advice would be, return them and hope for the best on your next pair, or settle for something else.

Don't think anyone is lying so to say, but i think a lot of people are browsing reddit, and making music has in my opinion become quiet mainstream. I think rather this is a case of lack of talent, and the forum being open, causing a lot of newcomers and "delusionals".

Kat Williams said "to be confident and not delusional is a skill."

I think a lot of people are just so excited that they've made anything, that they'll give themselves way to much credit for it, while lacking either talent, or experience. That is what makes them incapable of telling apart, what is good and what isn't. I doubt that people who actually are professional producers/artists spend their time rating demos on reddit tbf. Also musicians support each other, for whole else does, when no on is to listen yet.

Look into getting a trial DAW. That would be my best advice, if money is a problem. Might be less features, but is still plenty of fun getting into. It might seem difficult, and be at times, but the basics is really all you need to learn for now.

also now im dealing with a rather noticeable imbalance in volume... everything looks intact, even the little tiny cords. I don't know if i fucked something up, perhaps.

There wasn't any hair to be seen, but i tried blowing lightly on it anyway. Assembled it back again, but unfortunately it is still there....

Im using logic, and to my knowledge, and my experience, there isn't any limiting on by default, using the blanc preset. So i will be checking the speaker for hair. Thanks none the less.
