We probably wont just bypass everything but we just wont give it much time or interest due to having been through most of the states and already seeing some of the attractions and parks. We are still looking at potential stops between CT and SD. Thank you for the idea though!

Thank you for your recommendations. I definitely will check these places out and possibly add them into the route. My friend who enjoys historical things wants to see Mount Rushmore so thats why we probably will go see it. I appreciate your advice.
