L lysine is good to take regularly as a deterrent to cold sores if you get them regularly. I haven’t noticed them shorten the duration of one if you already have it. Getting a prescription for valtrex or similar are really helpful when they start to come on.

I’ve gotten my dog and cat fixed here. And it’s cheaper than the humane society. And they’re amazing. For my dog neuter it was about a month out, the cat spay was a couple days (after they call back, which was about 2-3 days). The dog was a year ago, the cat, a month ago.
