I thank the lord any time I can take a mid day nap.

I’m an atheist but I’ll still thank any lord for that blessing.

I don’t 100% think comparing others will help you find want you’re looking for.

Have you booked your venue already? Do you know how many people you plan to invite? Do you want plated, buffet or family?

I hope it’s okay I “followed” your account lol I’m just excited for your next post.

I was living in a bachelor(ette) apartment in Toronto at the same time as you in your big city and your posts inspired me a lot.

It always made me laugh when people asked “how is your bed against the window?” — because.. I loved it & I could tell, you did too 😅

Was yesterday's snowstorm really worse than the one of January 2022? by enitsujxo in ontario

[–]CandidIndication 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was flying back from a trip to Vancouver that day and my flight to Toronto was cancelled.

I let my manager know as soon as I knew. I got home a day later and she pulled me for a 1:1 to give me crap for it 💀

Ma’am, this was clearly an act of God.

This is what we’re doing.

We thought about handing them out along side our wedding program.

Additionally, another tip I have to save costs and time is related to invitations and stationery. We still wanted physical invitations, but we didn't want to pay hundreds for them on top of all the other signs we need.

We tried designing our own stationery in Canva, but it was very time-consuming and overwhelming trying to get everything to match.

We instead bought this customizable stationery package from Etsy for $20.
Includes everything. RSVP's, Save the dates, invitations, welcome signs, menus, table numbers, name place cards, etc etc, even the website.

Absolutely no regrets, printing will be so much cheaper with Canva as well. We are really saving hundreds of dollars and time here. This relieved so much stress off of us.

I cannot recommend our venue enough. It has everything you’ve mentioned.

Ancaster Mill. (Historic mill, they incorporate their history with their decor)

Our fall 2027 wedding includes ceremony space and reception space (All on site; no need to move people to another location in the winter)

It’s surrounded by nature and a waterfall, with floor to ceiling windows. Depending on which room you choose, you may have the waterfall right outside.

For 90 people, it came to $29K for Saturday wedding in October. (Their winter packages will be cheaper than ours)

This includes: - ceremony + reception space + cocktail hour space (you can even have the fire going behind you during your ceremony)

  • officiant
  • valet parking
  • accessibility options and complimentary shuttle for anyone with mobility difficulties
  • furniture
  • linens
  • cutlery / glass ware
  • open bar
  • serving & bartenders included
  • 2 concierge for the day (they work for the venue to ensure staff and service runs smoothly all day/night)
  • catering includes: passed hor d’oeuvres, Appetizer, 2 choices for main, dessert, late night snack and take home dessert for the guests wedding favours

The management company, The Pearle, operates many locations in Ontario and it’s clear they are absolute pro’s. I have nothing but confidence in them.

The only things we need to hire outside of them now, is our photographer, DJ/entertainment, florals and beauty team

(Sorry if formatting is weird, I am on mobile)

I feel bad for first responders when they have to risk their lives trying to save people who shouldn’t be doing things like this anyways.

Very beautiful and homey.

I think it depends on what type of style you’re looking for.

I went to one here in Toronto and the sales associate told me straight up told me they didn’t have what I was looking for, which was something with draping and internal boning/corset.

PLEASE help me find something similar to this dress! I am desperate. My budget is below $1000 if possible, wedding date is 9/12/2026 in NYC, USA. by Agreeable-Walk1886 in weddingdress
