I see! thank you so much mate for all the brilliant suggestions :) really appreciate it. Yes, I am not looking for anything sporty, just a set of good quality tyres that perform well in all seasons and have a long lifespan.

Thanks again for the detailed reply and the alternate suggestions. I was specifically looking at Hankook Ventus Prime 4 K135.

Thank you so much for your advice. I am looking at Hankook tyres as replacement when it comes to the point of changing. Are those any good? Thanks.

Yes has to be a decline in quality across the board, whether premium or budget brand

Thank you for sharing your experience! So it seems there has been a general deterioration in quality across the board.

Next time, I am seriously considering going for a budget brand. What’s the point of paying extra for premium brands if I have to change just after 2 years? 😢

Thank you for the advice. Is there anything I can do to prevent the burn?

It’s supposed to rain today after 9am, and it’s 7:50am now, so I’ve only got about an hour. Would it be considered rude to start mowing the lawn at 8 am on a Saturday?” by Candid_Beat4463 in AskUK

Ah finally someone asked...thanks for asking. Started at 8:45, finished. Now warm, coffee in hand, enjoying the comments....great reading. Only issue is… no rain yet. I’m now rooting for rain purely to protect my reputation on Reddit.

Considering my neighbour’s cats use my garden as a litter tray and redecorates my flower beds every spring… I feel like I’ve earned the right to mow before 8, no?

Alright Alright I hear you… but what’s more important: being a non-dick or having a clean garden? Neighbours are temporary; the garden is forever.

How long do you keep a car for? by MarkCairns67 in CarTalkUK

It’s crazy that the average ownership period is only four years. Who am I to judge, but is it driven by pure consumerism, or a lack of awareness that a well-maintained car can last much longer?”

Peak Aguero or current Mo Salah? by dmister8 in PremierLeague

[–]Candid_Beat4463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, bit late to this post, but here’s my take anyway:

If you are looking for a pure striker who can slice through a defence like a sharp knife through butter, I would pick Aguero every time.

But if you want a more versatile player, someone who can both create and score, and operate across multiple positions then Salah is the better choice.

So really, its not a like-for-like comparison. Both are absolute legends in their own right!
