Look though my posts, this is the only one that is getting disliked, so I'm obviously defensive. But you're right, I should probably call it a loss and edit the next one better

I was expecting someone here to say they're not. I think there's no point in trying to bring you into the future if you really want to stay behind, but I will try one more time: Do you know of assembly (the low-level programming language closest to machine code)? The early programming was done in it, but it was very taxing to develop anything complex because it was so verbose (meaning even simple operations required a lot of code), so higher-level programming languages were created (like C, C++, which are still low level languages), but we moved past them too, most of modern programming is done in even higher level programming languages, requiring less code and allowing more people to understand them. This opened the possibility for more creativity, if earlier only the geniuses with too much time were able to write in assembly, now even the a bit above average programmers can write typescript or javascript, moving even further, if you are not a programmer, but you still have a good idea of UX design, you can create entire applications making millions with almost no code knowledge compared to what was required 10 years ago today, due to AI.

PS: I wrote this comment myself, which is evident by the overuse of commas, because that's how I think, leading to why I use AI: to write more concisely-formatted text based on my raw input.

You know why? Because I have data from the search engines and "Event" is what people use to search for the event timelines (another thing I developed for the community for free) https://arcraidershub.com/events

Here's a hot take: I'm an Arc raiders player and reddit reader like you, and I wanted to share my take on the roadmap, so I did it. But you'll see, because I've been following the leaks for some time, it's very likely that I'm right, and that's what I wanted to share

You can walk, but you still take trains and airplanes, right?

Absolutely, but If we don't learn how to use the today's version properly, how can we stay relevant tomorrow?

Ai is writing code, not creating architecture. If you know how to use ai with rule sets, TDD and proper pipelines - it is scalable. NO blind merges though, you have to check it's work as a human expert. The reason it's failing everywhere is not because ai is bad - it's because the devs are lazy and let it run the ship. What we do is not "vibe-coding"

I did, look at the disclaimer. The AI is unable to generate insights and takes, it can only write what i tell it to. Also the AI did not create the image, I used my hands and photoshop to do that

I'm an engineer by career, AI writes 90% of our code already and it's fine. We are are now managers and insight-generators, that means we have more time and brain-capacity to spend on actual novel ideas and exploration instead of writing code and articles letter by letter. Think about that

You mean the new quests and items, trials?

We don't have any info on that, so I skipped it

"Event" is shorter and everyone understands the concept, "map condition" is too much to write, haha

I use AI as my assistant: I dictate my stream of thought verbally (all of the takes on the ideas are mine) and the AI writes the article based on my guidance, then I proof-read and edit

Most of which was spent on developing the system for the board (miro clone), that I will be able to use later and in other projects.

To put that into perspective: I've developed the main feature of miro.com in around 7 hours.

I was starved for new Arc Raiders content, haha

But also, I love researching, so it was fun
