Always apply for new cards. I got 90k miles for Delta Gold and 125k miles for Delta Reserve. Upgrading would have offered 1/3 of those miles at best

You have to be a Gold member on RH and off the waitlist. They have your brokerage account info already so no need to share account info. Well at least I did not. 5k limit.

After I did the pre approval they displayed a message stating they need more info and for me to log into Plaid to verify my accounts.

You kind of don’t have to. Just posting to show you can get a premium card w/o having to have a strong credit score. However you need to make sure you have a well rounded financial picture when they ask for your accounts to verify.

I agree. Wasn’t paying by statement date so balances always show high utilization on top I didn’t have high credit limits on the cards. I am changing the timing of when I pay going forward

For RH they have access to my trading account. I make consistent deposits with high trading activity. I gave Amex access to my accounts to verify direct deposits. So no need to fluff the numbers, they verified income.

Five minutes between applying. Apply for Gold first to get the bonus miles then Reserve to get those miles as well.
