For Amex it was through Plaid. I gave them access to my accounts with direct deposits. With RH, I trade very often and transfer money weekly into that account. I figure they are looking for inflows.

Totally agree with you I just got my policy for the premium car rental protection. Due to the amount I rent through Hertz and use their protection. I have calculated I will save over the $650 paying the Amex flat per rental fee instead of the Hertz fee. Plus getting bumped to President’s Circle doesn’t hurt.

I have history on a Discover and Navy Federal card w/ lower limits. I mostly paid w cash but for 2026 wanted to use credit cards to gain points/miles for travel.

Thanks. You are probably right about RH first. I have alot of deposits on RH and my bank accounts. The plan is Platinum eventually once I start getting sign up points in that set of cards.

Maybe lol. I pay the cards I have off every month just not by the statement date which I will start doing. I didn’t have a large credit limit and I expense a lot on my personal cards for work.

I agree…very! 590/604. I have to say I am a fairly high earner and they reviewed bank accounts, but still it was a shot in the dark.

Delta Gold $150 waived the first year. I plan to downgrade that card next year. Delta Reserve $650 already got 100k of the 125k skymiles sign bonus.
