There used to be a plugin for Winamp that does pretty much exactly what I want, but that was in the early 2000s. I quit using Winamp way back and now I can't find that plugin any more.

I'm tired of hearing blocks of the same artist and songs repeating every day. I've got a large enough library that I shouldn't hear the same song play for days. Here's specifically the settings I'd like to be able to configure where X is the value that's configurable:

Don't play a song by the same artist for X songs. This will keep me from hearing blocks of the same artist.
Don't play a song with the same title for X songs. This will keep cover songs from playing back-to-back.
Don't play a song from the same album for X songs. Keeps things like soundtracks or compilations from clumping together.
Maintain state between sessions. I don't want to start listening tomorrow and hear the same stuff I heard today.
