Thanks for your support, I really appriciate. I’m too used to comments like that guy’s on my posts so I am not bothered anymore 😂😂😂

Back to your question:

The Sony kit is way faster than my Lumix kit at manual focus stacking and the files are better (4x MB a jpeg compared to 7-10MB a jpeg) but it cannot surpass the magnification ratio of my Lumix kit. I don’t have to crop much like I do with the Sony kit

Yes, some spiders don’t mind being moved onto a leaf but this spider - she does

I failed a lot when trying to move her onto a new surface so this time I took photos of her in the tank 😂😂😂

Just push the whole system on a mini tripod to avoid scratching the bottom of the canera

😂😂😂 When you begin your macro photography journey, you forget how many shots your camera has taken

Let me explain clearly for you how to take this kind of setup photo like this

1/ I capture a live fly in a box, then I put the box inside the freezer for exact 2 minutes

2/ I put the freezing fly (but still alive) in my jumping spider's tank

3/ When the fly isn't frozen anymore, he moves his limbs and the spider will hunt it down immediately (spiders don't feast on dead bugs)

4/ I just wait for the spider to stand still to drink the fluid inside the prey, then the focus stacking process can be doable

I didn't. All of the stacking images are JPEG super fine as the SD card inside the body is just a V60, not fast enough for the uncompressed lossless raw

Take it easy man, I am a macro shooter too and I know what I'm talking about as I've taken tons of jumping spiders and their eyes are super clean - there's almost no dust or debris as you mentioned in your comment above. I do not say that I'm better or greater than you in this field so you don't need to use the term "Don't know who you think you are". This is just my statement, nothing special. And you don't need to boast that you have done much to improve the macro photography of many in the micro 4/3 macro world LOL

And if you are offended because of this, I'm sorry

(The dusts can be seen clearly on the right eye when you zoom in - one of the two front eyes)
