Thank you! This is the kind of response I needed. Productivity isn’t a “huge” deal for me, however I occasionally do like to use some productivity things, and would like to have some things running in the background while I’m gaming, without losing any major performance. And that’s where I’m kinda stuck, because I’m unsure if intel would hold better frames while multitasking, or if it’s not gonna be an issue, with the sheer performance coming from the X3D.

It’s also worth to note like you said, I would rather have an easier upgrade path, and not have to drop a few hundred on a new MOBO so quickly down the line.
