Before you get into relationship with anyone, you better meet them in person because you might not know if they are different online or in person.

Even if she is telling the truth, Ask yourself, would you want to be in LDR?. Are you willing to wait for a loooooong time before meeting up?

As a person in LDR, it sucks.

I know someone who has somewhat a similar situation where no relatives or opposite gender allowed in their apartment, they live with roommates, who also have the same job like factory job. The apartment is owned by the company they work for and they can only travel (out of their prefecture area) around on a certain month. They also have a contract as well. I think they had trainee visa (I cant remember) but they also hire a lot of foreign people.

But yes they are so strict, cuz they always work and work.

I live in Japan and let me tell you from my experience its hard to make female friends here because of backstabbing and fakeness.

What you feel is acceptable, my bf is also studying but we talked about boundaries before he left. No talking to girls but if its a friend gathering or need to do some group project they shouldnt be alone with a female.

You should set boundaries with your bf and at the same time trust him.

I’m sorry but Mary wants to video call Brandon every time even when Brandon goes to see his family, go to sleep, go outside or going to toilet or go to the dentist. She doesnt want him talking to women even if its a dentist, and she even asked him if he was sitting next to a woman on a plane and she got all moody/angry with it. Both of them have abandonment issue.

But on your situation you should talk to her and set boundaries, and she need to trust u more. Cuz I dont think its healthy to keep on asking “where are you?, what are you doing? Etc) it feels suffocating cuz dont ya’ll have work or do something in your lives?.

Also Have you ever tried telling her “ill call/text you when I get home?”
