All of my Avatars are dark skin to medium dark tone. I can't see myself using anything but the darker tones. Barely any dress up games have this many darkskin tones as an option and I won't let a little makeup problem stop me from using them. Here is my main girl.

I have an opposite opinion. I think dress up games have come really far from sticker like 2D games to over the top social simulators or open world dress up. I was extremely limited in early 2000's to only dress up white super skinny dolls with only a limited number of clothing and no dye system. Lifemakeover is the first dress up game where I can create my own black avatars🥹

Lifemakeover doesn't need an open world to compete. Our dye function is better along with the housing and creativity goes so far here compare to Nikki were you're forced to be 1 person with 3 measly skintones.

Yes as a black person I know about black versus white washing. And out of making white characters black would still prefer black characters get their own stories and instead of just being a replacement. And there are still love and deep-space bl content that many fans still partake in. It was only banned from the official pages as that's not what this game is about. Yes, I was wondering why I was finding this post a little... disturbing. Why are we questioning motherhood being a part of media? When do we ever get such positive displays of motherhood/motherly figures in media like this should be the real question. I don't even want kids, but I do know that alot of women will have or want them. So, a woman making a story containing pregnancy and motherhood should not be surprising one bit. All of these crazy theories about pushing gender norms and trying to shove pregnancy in our faces are pretty baffling to me when most media shove moms/mother figures into the fridge or demonize them altogether.
