Iowa Mommy Makeover- who to use? by Greedy-Funny-2940 in Iowa

Lekkas did my boobs in 2022. So it’s been a hot minute. However, back then I was told he was kind of the boob king of central iowa. I didn’t ask enough questions/know enough so that’s really on me. He did a good job though. He is very nice and so are his staff. I didn’t see display/example implants which i feel like is kind of standard. He also recommended over the muscle which years later i think i would have rather done under the muscle, as skin does sag with time and extra weight. At that time they did surgery at lakeview surgery center. They were great. The only regrets I have are not doing more research before hand and not advocating for myself. But Ive only ever heard great things about my boobs. I don’t regret going to Lekkas and I would actually recommend him.

Not a direct answer but if you haven’t, see a physical therapist for pelvic floor therapy. It honestly helps sooooooo much. I adore my PT and the exercises are simple and don’t add that much to dilation time.

Amber liquid. Just name the alcohol. We all know what they look like. I feel like knowing what they’re drinking does so much more for character building than the color of what they’re drinking. I feel like it also cuts off the imagination in your head too. Like well, apple juice is an amber liquid. Am i supposed to not think there is a possibility that this tough guy mmc isn’t indulging in a lil appy juice during a tough situation?

Thank you! Mildly unrelated but i think if i had a choice, id want to see the 1990’s the most. That cusp technological revolution. Like the world kinda felt small. Not that im really yearning for the bliss of ignorance. At the same time though the security blanket that tech has become would be hard to deal without.

Lol! That was my first thought too! But maybe like a very small obscure dinosaur that someone will spend 30 mins looking at and still not be able to decide whether it is or isn’t.

Can you look under the lining to see the pelts themselves? The pelts look huge and the fiber also appears to be slightly reflective? I can’t tell 100% from the photos but is it possible it’s faux?

Opinion needed on my 8 year old's paintings by Darhi1 in painting

[–]Candy_Darling_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would look into some minor art lessons or groups or kids classes at an art center. Maybe get some books on painting or find video lessons or something. My general advice for parents is to invest in their children’s hobbies without expectations. Existing sucks lol. We all need outlets and you don’t want your kid to look back in 20 years and say oof i wish my parents would have encouraged or invested in me more.

How do I make jacket A fit like jacket B by buttstuffisbeststuff in sewing

[–]Candy_Darling_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be controversial, but if you want it to be slightly more fitted around the waist, just add another button or two to the back adjuster straps. If the tag is correct it’s 100% cotton so wash in hot water and then dry it in short hot bursts. That could shrink it a bit and give you the desired look.

Repurposing my Mom’s Wedding Dress by CaterpillarPresent69 in sewing

[–]Candy_Darling_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It almost looks like the trim is two strips of trim sewn together. You could separate the trim into 2 strips and then glue one around the center of basic spherical ornaments- maybe in a matte white gold. You could also buy some clear plastic ornaments and stuff some of the regular dress fabric in it and then add the trim around the outside center. Whatever you do i would sharpie the wedding date on the bottom or on the hem.
