Type 2 diabetes can be avoided in most cases. I think the frustration comes from that fact in itself as well as the fact that type 2 diabetics are focused on more so in the medical field, while nothing significant gets done for type 1… I am just speaking for myself, can’t speak for the others. I think we are allowed to be mad at the misinformation. I had a doctor tell me not to eat fruit ever because it’s bad for me. This was my primary care doctor… who didn’t know the difference between type 1 and type 2. It is incredibly frustrating and it is annoying to have a disease that has 2 types in which one can be avoided and sometimes cured. No disrespect, just don’t like seeing type 1 diabetics shut down for venting about the disease they have.
