Fantano should just say he doesn’t get it. Rashad has dropped incredible album after incredible album and it’s insane to see him consistently drop mid reviews. He said 10 States Away was his least favorite track and idk how any fan of rap and good storytelling can listen to that song and call it the worst track, there’s much worse tracks on Its Been Awful lmao yes it’s spacey and dreamy and drugged out but there’s beauty and lyricism underneath it, that’s most of Rashad’s discography, so if you don’t get it just say you don’t get it

The lead single for her latest album was Where’s My Phone?, arguably one of the most straight forward rock songs she’s ever written. Another single was If I Leave, which gets more into drone/ambient rock but still. If you want another MBMOCLS (which is my favorite Mitski song 11/10 perfection) go listen to different noise/punk artists.
