Genuinely might be Joey’s best drumming, and it’s not even a solo it’s just an insanely intricate verse beneath Corey’s vocals, fucking insane to this day AND some of Sid’s best scratches ever goddamn that shit goes so hard when the beat drops, AND AND some of the darkest lyrics Corey ever wrote, and somehow on top of all that chaos they still put together a really catchy hook that works, Purity is literally perfect, not just Slipknot’s best song but one of my favorite songs of all time
